Skilldex is an internal learning and career development platform built for Endava employees. It helps people discover new skills, explore career pathways, and access personalised learning opportunities to support professional growth and internal mobility.

My Role

Product Designer & Strategist

As Product Designer & Strategist, I led from discovery through delivery, partnering with stakeholders, engineers, and leadership to shape how employees could better learn, adapt, and grow within the organisation. My role included product strategy, user research, workshop facilitation, journey mapping, UX/UI design, prototyping, usability testing, and developing the foundational UI kit for the platform.

Challenge

As Endava grew, employees increasingly wanted to develop new skills and transition into different disciplines, but learning opportunities were fragmented across regions and teams. At the same time, AI was rapidly reshaping the future of work, creating a need for continuous learning, career adaptability, and stronger knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Solution

We designed Skilldex as a personalised learning and career development platform that connected employees with relevant skills, learning resources, mentors, and career pathways across the organisation. By breaking down regional silos and connecting employees with subject matter experts, the platform enabled continuous learning, mentorship, and career mobility at scale.
