Relias is a leading healthcare education platform, helping healthcare organisations deliver accredited training and maintain regulatory compliance. As generative AI rapidly reshaped content creation, Relias set out to transform its production workflows into an AI-native platform that could scale high-quality content creation while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
My Role
Product Design Lead
As Product Design Lead, I led the end-to-end design process from discovery through delivery, partnering with product strategists, AI engineers, developers, and stakeholders. My role included product strategy, user research, AI-native workflow design, stakeholder workshops, UX/UI design, production-like prototyping, usability testing, and building a scalable design system to support rapid product development.
Challenge
As generative AI rapidly reshaped content production, Relias faced a critical challenge: evolve existing workflows or risk being outpaced by AI-native competitors.
While teams were already experimenting with AI tools like ChatGPT, adoption remained fragmented and disconnected from operational workflows, creating inefficiencies, inconsistent content, and increasing pressure to scale production without compromising quality or compliance.
Solution
Rather than adding AI to existing tools, we designed a centralised AI-native Content Studio that unified writing, review, and production into a single operational workflow.
By embedding AI directly into content creation, governance, and review processes, the platform reduced manual effort, improved collaboration, increased transparency, and established a scalable foundation for future AI-assisted content operations.
